Activism - World Unity Album

"We're looking for HC/Punk Bands n MCs connected with the scene who'd like to take part in a project called WORLD UNITY ALBUM.

It's a project made in cooperation with a few of the world's hardcore independent labels from around the world and would be released in different countries. It's a good way to promote good music from your country! To show it globally. It's no matter if you are black or white or Jewish of Catholic. Hardcore is the way we live, it's what beats in our hearts - so let's show it globally that there are no fuckin' borders for the Hardcore Family.

Danny Diablo and few other legends from the scene have already told us they'd like to take part in this project.

The album will have 2/3/4 CDs and will be the chronicle of World's Hard-Fuckin'-Core Scene.

The idea is:

- Every band/MC record their tracks in their country.
- Please make some new tracks for the album 'cos the main subject is UNITY and no borders in the Hardcore Family.
- After recording every band/MC please send us the projects (all tracks, vocals, beats, instruments separately) 'cos we're doing the final mastering of the album. BOMBING RECORDS is the Project's main director to get all the shit together ;)
- After all the work's done and mastering's finished we're sendin' the full mix to labels in different countries to do the release in their own country - the question of royalties for every artist is a question that we need to discuss with every interested label that'd like to release this album in their own country. First of all it's a matter of artists.

For the project we'll make special thread on our message board where all artists could communicate to get some shit together and discuss recordings :)

IF YOU'VE GOT FRIENDS FROM DIFFERENT COUNTRIES, PLEASE FORWARD THIS MESSAGE TO THEM - IT'S A BIG CHANCE ESPECIALLY FOR YOUNGBLOODS, NEW KIDS, TO APPEAR ON THE GLOBAL SCENE.

REGARDS AND PLEASE WRITE TO US IF YOU'D LIKE TO TAKE YOUR PART IN THIS GLOBAL PROJECT!

Or if you would like to get some nice beats from different countries...

bombingrecords@gmail.com

SEND US SOME INFO ABOUT SCENE IN YOUR COUNTRY/CITY, SOME SAMPLE RECORDINGS (QUALITY DOES NOT MATTER IF YOU COULD RECORD SOMETHING IN GOOD QUALITY LATER) AND INFO ABOUT YOUR BAND (BIO, YOUR APPROACHES, MAYBE SOME PHOTOS :) )
AFTER WE GET AN AMOUNT OF APPLICATIONS, WE'LL OPEN VOTING ON OUR SITE AND WE'LL MAKE A TIME-LIMIT FOR VOTING :)

ALSO, THE IDEA IS TO RELEASE MORE VOLUMES OF "WORLD UNITY" EVERY YEAR/2 YEARS AS AN ICON OF THE WORLD'S HARDCORE SCENE.

BOMBING RECORDS & EDUPUNK CREW

Hardcore4Life

P.S
RECORDINGS COULD BE DONE IN EVERY BAND'S MOTHER LANGUAGE, BUT WE NEED TO GET WRITTEN LYRICS IN ORIGINAL VERSIONS AND TRANSLATED TO ENGLISH TO PUT INTO THE CD BOOK ;)

IF YOU'RE A SCENE ACTIVIST - FORWARD THIS MESSAGE TO YOUR LOCAL SCENE MESSAGE BOARD AND TELL AS MANY ARTISTS AND ACTIVIST AS YOU CAN, POST IT ANYWHERE!
IF YOU'RE AN ARTIST - FORWARD IT TO THE OTHER ARTISTS CONNECTED!
IF YOU'RE RECORDING LABEL - TELL YOUR BANDS ABOUT THIS PROJECT!
IF YOU'RE A ZIN - REPOST IT ANYWHERE!

IT'S FUCKIN GLOBAL ACTION!"

Serbia - Breaking The Silence Radio 2

Breaking the Silence Radio 1

"BTS show is still alive, next August we're gonna turn 18 years. The owner decided to kick us out of the radio station. We were very angry because of that, because all these years we did that show for free. We only wanted 90 minutes of radio programme. He has decided that he doesn't want that kind of music on his radio waves. So now we're recording the whole show, then we are uploading it and sharing the link to our listeners. New links you can find every Thursday (6pm, UTC+1) on our web...

"The D.I.Y. is great here in my area.

Drucklufthaus is in Oberhausen (Ruhrgebiet/Ruhrpot). It's a big and old location with three areas and here there are big parties and festivals all over the year.

Linkes Zentrum Hinterhof is in Düsseldorf , but it's got big problems with the neighborhood and can have shows only to 11:00pm. But each second Sunday they make a vegan brunch or some movie nights and political meetings.

Do You Care put on shows...

Activism - Capitalism is Doomed

"As seen in Wisconsin, inside and outside the occupation of the capitol building in Madison in protest against new government austerity measures, we’ve designed a new poster heralding the downfall of capitalism.

To be clear, we’re not certain that capitalism is about to collapse. However, we’re convinced that it is doomed–such a volatile and destructive system cannot possibly last forever–and that it is entering a new phase of crisis. All the old peace treaties are coming to an end: unions have been outflanked by globalization, while the Fordist compromise of higher wages for obedient workforces has given way in the course of the transition to a service-based economy. These peace treaties were not simply ways to pacify resistance movements–they also served to perpetuate capitalism itself. Without the higher wages won by the old labor movement, for example, consumers can’t afford to keep rates of profit up for capitalists. Consequently, at the moment of its worldwide triumph, capitalism has run out of ways to expand, heralding a new period of instability. The next several years will surely be marked by more upheavals like the ones in Greece and Egypt; these may even reach the United States.

In that context, a poster like this is really an attempt to cast a spell, to convey a vote of no confidence in capitalism in hopes that it will be infectious. If capitalism is indeed entering a period of crisis, anarchists must not miss this opportunity to spread a vision of an alternative. It is precisely before the upheavals that we can do this most effectively: people’s idea of what is possible can change very quickly in the midst of turmoil, but their idea of what is desirable often changes much more slowly. If we miss this opportunity, we may see yet another phase of revolutionary struggles fought merely for “better democracy”–wasting an opportunity that will not come again for a generation. Therefore, we invite you to join us in covering the walls of North America with posters like this, and to brainstorm ways to escalate the conflict that point towards real liberation."

"Some autonomous centres where bands can play for a small rent...

AZ Muelheim is one of my favourite places for concerts. You must look at the lineups. Bands from all over the world play on this stage.

This one in Cologne celebrates its first birthday soon.

The next one is in Wuppertal.

And some other dirty little halls and bars where bands can play shows...

The Panic Ballroom in Essen.

The JZE (it stands for Jugend Zentrum, in English it's Youth Centre) in Essen.

Cafe Nova in Essen live music pub

In Cologne, The Underground is a nice place with a beergarden, a concert hall, a pub and a second hall for parties. For the normal parties and disco nights, you pay nothing for entry.

The Aetherblissement in Cologne.

The next one has got a long history in punk and hardcore, the AK 47 in Düsseldorf.

The Roots Club is a nice place in Mönchengladbach.

Alternative Culture centre in Recklinghausen."
