Blog - heart-a-tact, Hungary

"I started heart-a-tact because I love the hungarian punk/hardcore scene and I wanted (and still want) to share cool music. No, I don't steal records from my scene. These albums are available to download from the bands as well."

Blog - all things old school, Brazil

"The main purpose of all things old school is to help spread the word of some cool bands I think are worth looking into and to make available some great records that are hard to find, from all around the globe.
Before this year ends I will try to put out a 'top 4 hardcore albums' from each year of the 00's decade.
This sampler was well received, I just wanted to put together tracks from bands I have friends playing on it or somehow represent the old school hardcore/thrash in Brazil.
I will try to do one every year, just for fun."

Blog - Talk the Walk

"Talk the Walk is dedicated to hardcore related artwork and artists. Artists info and interviews, band logos, shirts designs, covers, flyers, posters, photos etc. will be posted regularly.
After couple of years of reading and collecting everything on this subject, I realized it would be cool to share it, so here it is. Although my main interest is old school hand drawn art, my intention is to be as diverse as possible and include contemporary artists with another styles and mediums as well, and of course some well known art from the past decades like Shawn Kerri, Mad Marc Rude, Raymond Pettibone, Derek Hess and other classics for people who may not know a lot about it."
Check Rebuild zine too.

Zine & Blog - Kaskadura

“This blog is actually a continuation of that fanzine published on paper from 1997 to 2006 or so. Right now I'm returning to edit on paper a new zine Kaskadura which I launched earlier this year alongside the blog.
I'm also part of the band Melody Monster and we launched new material in the first half of the year, so I posted some bootleg CDs on the blog.
The material is bands of friends and also some texts that I amgradually uploading.
If anyone can lend a hand and share some things feel free, I thank you in advance.
Big hug and have a good end of the year.”

Blog - Stay Ahead

"I started Stay Ahead because I'm a massive fan of hardcore/metal and I wanted people to share my passion. I have started posting stuf about bands from my local town of Harrogate (about 15 miles from Leeds), as I wanted to support them. I want to include bands from overseas in my blog as well, as there are so many cool bands out there, and not everybody knows about them.
I want to invite people to contribute and comment as the scene in Yorkshire and the rest of the world is one big community and it should stay that way."

Blog - Different Tastes

"I've started Different Tastes because the people around me can't get music from the internet, they can't find it. I just put full discographies of my favourite bands, upload them to Mediafire and put them on the blog, for the people..
You can download some rare albums, or songs, which aren't on any record, you can leave a link in a shoutbox with your band and I'll add it to my blog and also you can tell me to delete it and I'll delete it as fast as I can.
Music on my blog is DIY and I hope, when people enjoy some of the bands here, they'll support them - give them a gig, go to their gig or just buy a record and expand their music to other people.
Enjoy, support, be DIY!"

Blog - Picture.Perfect.Smiles

"Picture.Perfect.Smiles is a photo-blog dedicated to hardcore punk music in the way that I experience and depict it.
It's all about fragments of places this music scene has taken me to, people I've met, bands I've come to love, sing-alongs, soul exposures and intense burst-outs.
It's about maintaining these vanished realities and feelings of isolation within unity and unity despite division.
In the end, it's about sharing these moments with everybody and giving something in return to all the people involved in this scene, which goes beyond just music."

Blog - real screamo, real punk, real life
"This is a blog for punks with diy ethics and views. There is nothing elitist about this - it's to help promote the music and labels I love and bring them all together. This is a positive thing.
No illegal music downloads here, maybe some legal ones if bands want that.
DIY or die.
Get in touch at powernegi@live.co.uk"

Blog - Suck My Ovaries
"I am from Los Angeles, CA (born and raised). At first the blog was by the domain scallywalleh because of my old nick name. It still went by Suck My Ovaries though. It was a phrase that was said becuase I see girls say "suck my balls or dick" when we don't have those genital organs. I said it throughout high school.
At first the blog was only for downloads but I started talking to my brother. His blog had no downloads and only news of what was happening in Peru in the hardcore scene. My blog was inclined to South America in promoting bands from the US to download, it was mainly supposed to be in spanish.
I went to Peru for two months last year and when I came back, the day after I saw HH last show and many others, I thought to myself how I wanted to share this with my friends in Peru. I started filming the shows and then I decided to interview bands because I had the opportunity to see them unlike those who live in South America. Also what made me more inclined to do it was that there were no blogs with the idea I had in mind and I didn't know any girls that had a blog about the scene. That's why I call it suck my ovaries because also; at times girls still get judged but I know girls that are really down for the core. It is kind of like an "in your face" view.
At the same time I promote south american hardcore. People kind of brush it of but Chile has one of the biggest hc scenes in South America. Even though Peru doesn't have a big scene those kids are dedicated. When I can I'll scan a zine into a pdf file to download. I even have ideas of my own for zines but I just need the time.
LA has so much to it with in the kids and the scene. I always want to document things so I can post it online. I even talk to photographers at shows and promote them. There is a lot of stuff that goes on in LA and I just go to the shows that interest me most. But I love how at every show there are at least some people that i know. I have grown to appreciate how I am able to see all these bands. I love California."

Zine - Crucified Freedom

"The idea of starting Crucified Freedom was born as consequence of my strong desire to do something more or less creative..
At first I was very skeptical about all this internet thing (you know, I'm a part of this generation of hand written letters and ordering stuff from distros, listening to records on tapes and so on..) but then I realized that the internet can be used very well so you may consider this blog like some kind of web fanzine..
There are some interviews published with bands that I like, also some gig reports and some news connected with diy underground scene and everything related to it..
The reason why I'm doing it? There isn't any special reason, just my good will and strong wish to share anything with people from all around the globe.. at first it was just for my own pleasure but when I realized that people actually read it and comment on stuff that I post, it all gets to another, bigger dimension..
At the beginning (some 9 months ago) there was plan to do a paper 'zine when material was collected for the blog, but because of my lack of free time all that exists is this online form..
If anyone who is doing a paper 'zine would like to use some materials from this blog just let me know and we will work something out 'cause I think it's a shame that all the material exists only in online form.. also if someone wants to contribute somehow please feel free to write at crufreedom@gmail.com."
