- hcmorethanmusic is now back after an extended break. It is a project about the global hardcore/punk scene. The main goal is supporting DIY musical and political activity in the hardcore community and promoting activism, which takes strong positions on fascism, racism, sexism, homophobia and animal rights. hcmorethanmusic aims to support all kinds of positive culture, giving bulletins to facilitate positive action against injustice and greed. All reports are made by contributors and are published unedited. ReplyDeleteI'm from Moscow. We have a lot of good bands. Many of them remind me of most legendary bands like Agnostic Front, Madball etc.
There was the favourite venue off all hxc kids - "Tabula Rasa". I'd say it was "second home". Great venue.
I remember a show in January 2010. It was in dining hall of the old factory. It was great :) About unity. Yes, we have it :) definitely.
A lot of straight edge bands just started last year or two years ago.
DIY is the main part of all hxc community in Russia.
Russia is not just bears, vodka and balalaika with matreshkas ;)
