I am from Tbilisi, and play on drums in two bands Vodka Vtraiom and Butaforia. Both bands are playing some kind of punk/ alternative music.
The punk community here in Georgia is very weak. There are some punks, but most of them don't know anything about the hardcore scene or DIY or sXe and so on. Those things are beginning to develop in our country only now! :) But anyway there are a lot of good bands in Georgia, with their music and lyrics.
We have mostly have gigs and concerts in small clubs and sometimes little open air fests, sometimes with armenian and azerbaijanian bands! :) We have gig tomorrow with Butaforia and Indigo Child!
Punk's not dead! :)
